Housing insecurity touches nearly half of Viequenses and approximately 3.7 million people living in the United States. Many families find it challenging to afford quality housing in their communities and more than half of all adults say they have made at least one trade-off in order to cover their home; taking second jobs, cutting back on health care and healthy food, and moving to less safe neighborhoods. Hope Builders is transforming these statistics by partnering with organizations and legal services to help families on the path to home security and financial independence.
